Having caught an early train from Thirsk, the staff and children packed in an eventful day as they walked 7 miles around London visiting: the London Eye, Westminster and the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace (including changing of the guard!) and St James’ Park, Piccadilly Circus and Chinatown. 

As a grand finale to our day, the children watched Matilda at Cambridge Theatre and enjoyed a yummy meal at Pizza Express before we headed home on the train.
