This week is British Science Week and we have been putting our scientific skills to the test today with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) afternoon.
Thank you to Rev Karen for teaching us the story of Palm Sunday in our Collective Worship.
Paul, a retired firefighter, came and talked to us in Collective Worship about this half term’s school value: Courage. He told us about times when he had to have courage in his job and gave us opportunities to ask questions.
Class 2 & 3 had a fantastic day yesterday visiting Leeds Grand Mosque. Our Focus Faith this year is Islam and the children have expanded their understanding of the Islamic faith by experiencing the daily prayers and religious activities within this Muslim place of worship.
A huge well done and congratulations to our Wellbeing Ambassadors: Tempi, George, Sophia and Louie for presenting an amazing Wellbeing presentation on Healthy Snacks.

Beth from Phunky Foods led a food tasting session with Class 2 yesterday, pupils enjoyed trying some new foods and alternatives!
