Phunky Foods have awarded our Wellbeing Ambassadors for promoting health and wellbeing across our school this year. Well done Betsy, Milosz, Isla and Will M.

Year 1 have planned, designed and made their own healthy sandwiches this week as part of their DT lesson.

Well done to all our Roecliffe young athletes who worked hard in the heat yesterday to achieve some amazing running, jumping and throwing! Thank you to family members who joined us to support the children.

Class 3 children enjoyed a day of activity and wellbeing at Queen Ethelburga’s on Thursday. The children took part in tennis coaching and cricket coaching sessions and enjoyed watching Treasure Island performed by the students.

A huge well done to all our Class 2 and Class 3 children who took part in an athletics competition organised by Sporting Influence at Kirk Hammerton Primary School today.

Class 2 enjoyed their first forest school session yesterday, they had the perfect weather for lots of fun and learning in the forest!

Well done Year 6 for working your socks off at school and for being so mature this week in the KS2 SAT tests. You have all tried so hard to do your very best and we are very proud of you.

Thank you to Roecliffe parents and family members who are supporting our coronation event by joining us this afternoon at school and experiencing our children taking part in coronation activities for the last part of the afternoon.

Thank you also to families for bringing cakes and buns into school for our fundraising cake stall. It was a pleasure to see so many family members with us at school today!

Class 2 investigated how water travels through a plant. We added food colouring to the water and observed the changes on the flower.
