World Book Day

World Book Day!

For World Book Day this year we dressed up as our favourite characters, shared our favourite stories and inspired others to read them too!

   

We were extremely lucky to have a lovely librarian to visit us! She read us a poem and talked to us about the importance of words! We are very excited to visit the library soon.

Each class based their work on a book by the author Anthony Browne.

Class 2 looked at the book Into The Forest by Anthony Browne. They noticed that the illustrations were in black and white with one figure in colour. They used this to draw their own forest with only one figure in colour!
