Dinosaurs

Our new topic in Spring 2 is dinosaurs! We have loved researching about them and looking in our non-fiction books. We recently got a letter from Professor Scout, who sent us some Dinosaur eggs. We were looking at what dinosaur we thought laid them!

We have lots of dinosaurs in our areas of provision too!

Pancake Day

As you can see by some of these chocolatey faces… we had a very yummy afternoon!

Valentines Day

We made some beautiful cards for our families this Valentines Day. We wanted to show all our excellent adult how much we love and appreciate them!

Chinese New Year

Class 1 really enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year. We made lanterns and also a dragon head for some dragon dancing! It was so much fun!

Starry Night

Our Spring topic was ‘Starry Night’. We’ve been looking at all things to do with night time: lullabies, nocturnal animals and space!

Nativity!

Well done to Class 1 who took part in their first Nativity! We are so proud of you.

Christmas Dinner

We loved having our Christmas dinner! It was very yummy and we also got to pull crackers and tell jokes with our friends.

Farm Visit

Since looking at real life superheroes, we also had another lovely mummy come in to talk about farming and where all our food comes from! It was so interesting and we couldn’t believe how much of our food came from farms!

Police Visit

We’ve been looking at real life superheroes! Some real life superheroes are our police. We’ve had one of our lovely mummies come in to talk to the children about being part of the police force! We had an excellent time.

Supertato!

We’ve been reading the Supertato stories and made our own Super Veggies! Aren’t they great?

Our Superhero Disguise!

We have been making our own superhero disguises! Can you tell it is us?

Superhero Day!!

In our new topic we are going to be learning all about Superheroes! We decided to have a dress up day on Monday and don’t we all look amazing? We had so much fun!

Bonfire Night

It’s been a super busy week in Class 1! We have been learning lots about Bonfire Night and made lots of crafts. We have also learnt about safety on bonfire night!

Pumpkin Soup

After learning lots about pumpkins, we decided to read ‘Pumpkin Soup’ and make some of our own! We had some mixed emotions on the taste.

Pumpkins!

In Class 1, we’ve been reading the story ‘Pumpkin Soup’ and also been learning a recipe on how to make it! We’ve had lots of fun drawing and exploring the pumpkins.
