For National Poetry Day this year we joined in with the BBC Live Lesson which inspired us to write poetry about nature. On Friday we went for a walk with Class 3 to the local woodland where we gathered ideas for our poems using our senses. When we got back to school we chose whether to write a ‘free verse’ poem or an acrostic poem!
